We begin by installing the ice and water shield barrier to prevent leaks caused by wind-driven rain and ice dams. This barrier is installed everywhere that we think the home may be vulnerable to leaks.
- Synthetic Underlayment
A critical part of today’s modern roofing system. After all the old roof is removed, we will cover the remainder of your roof with synthetic breathable materials that help seal and create a water tight barrier between the asphalt roofing shingles and your home’s roofing deck.
- Roof Flashing & Edges
This is an important step in the roofing system installation. Protecting your roof’s edges from rain and wind damage are crucial. We install F8 Aluminum Drip Edge on all the edges of your roof, as well as GAF Pro Starter Strip Shingles to help prevent cross-wind damage.
- Shingle Installation Begins
